Rubies are Really Dumb

So considering the intelligence of the Average Ruby is very low, even when they fuse (so many minds put together, when they all are stupid, does not make a smart gem). You got to wonder why the Diamonds trust these gems to simple tasks, like tracking down Rose Quartz!
Which thousands of years ago these 7 Rubies were pursuing the rebels, only to lose Rose easily, and the next gem they encounter is a mustachioed Quartz gem, Who's actually Rose in Disguise, but they're so dumb that they fall for it, even when she's barely trying to hide it XD
Well these rubies are being led off a cliff since they listened to Rose XD
I swear Rose probably woulda done something like this to avoid fighting, and instead outsmart her opponents whenever possible. especially if they were rubies.

The funnest part of this draw was designing the rubies, since the ruby squad came out and showed how much variety gems can have to differentiate between one another besides the gem location, it's fun to move around the designs. which ruby is your fav?
